Addendum Lock - Petition in Chancery- Files Sept. 1846 Case No. 1049. Barren County KY.

Circuit Court Jacob Lock Sr. died intestate in Barren County, Ky., 18 Jan 1845. In this suit the names are given of his wife, eight sons, one daughter, and several grandchildren. Three sons, Jacob Jr.,William, and Joseph died before the suit was filed. Widow: Margaret (Jett) Lock 1. Richard Lock

Barren County, Ky., County Court Order Book Jan. 1845, page 263. John Lock and David Lock were appointed Administrators of the estate of Jacob Lock Sr. deceased. Sureties on their bond were- Andrew Chapman, James Lock, and George F. Lock. Appraisers of the estate were William D. Harlow, Samuel P. Bowdry, Paschal J. Kirtley, and Henry Eubank.
