This Indenture made and entered into this 4th day of October 1855 between Wm. E. Munford a commissioner of the Barren Circuit Court of the one part and Seth Harrison of the other part witnesseth. This whereas at the September Term 1844 of said court in a suit in chancery wherein in Pulliam Page also were complainants and Bridges heirs defendants. It was decreed and ordered that so much of the mortgaged property as might be necessary to pay the debts interest and cost set out in said decree be sold on a credit of three months and H. P. Curd was appointed a commissioner to make said sale and afterwards at the March Term 1845 said Curd as commissioner reported to Court on the 18th day of November 1844 he sold the property in the decree and mortgages mentioned as directed by said decree when John H. Page became the purchaser of the land at the sum of two hundred dollars said tract of land is described in said mortgages filed as an exhibit in said suit and executed by Thomas Bridges as the land on which I now live containing 130 acres which I bought of Abraham Chaplin and whereas the said John H. Page has filed an order in the papers of said suit dated 21st day of May 1855 asking the court to appoint the said Wm E. Munford a commissioner to convey said land to the said Seth Harrison in place of himself .Which was so ordered at the present term of this Court. Now therefore in consideration of the promises the said Wm E. Munford Commissioner as aforesaid doth by these presents hereby convey to the said Seth Harrison all the rights, title, claim and interest of _____ Bridges widow of Thomas Bridges. William Bewley, Elizabeth Bewley, Thomas Bewley, Margarett Bewley, Fountain Holman, __ Holman, James Carver, Malinda Carver, Joseph Hogg, Joseph Huckaby, Mary Huckaby, Rebecca Huckaby, Rebecca Hogg, Thomas Huckaby, Joseph Huckaby, Nanery Siteral, Nathan Huckaby, James Huckaby, William Francis, Harriett Morgan and her husband E. Morgan, Benjamin Siteral, July Ann Francis, James Bridges, William Bridges, Oliver Bridges, Thmas Bridges, ____ Bridges, James Bridges, Harriett Bridges, and William Bridges heirs and representation of Thomas Bridges dec’d in and to said 130 acres of said land with it appertanances[as written] to have and to hold the same to the said Seth Harrison against the claim of said heirs and all person claiming under them. In Testimony of which I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal William E. Munford Com. /seal/ I, the Judge of Barren Circuit Court, have this day examined the within deed and approved it Oct 4th 1855. Archer W. Graham State of Kentucky Barren County Sct} I, William E. Munford clerk of the Circuit Court for the said County certify that the foregoing deed from W. E. Munford commissioner of said Court to Seth Harrison was on the 4th day of October 1855 produced in open Court and acknowledged by said commissioner to be his act and deed approved by the Court and ordered to be certified to the Clerk of Barren County Court for record. State of Kentucky Barren County, Sct} I, Travis Cockrill clerk of the County Court for said County certify that the foregoing deed from William E. Munford Commissioner to Seth Harrison together with the testimonies thereon endorsed was on this day filed in my office for record. Whereupon the same this certified have been recorded in my office.
