John Perkins to Nathan Moore
27 November 1843
Whereas on the 20th day of April 1839 John
Perkins executed a deed to Nathan Moore
for one hundred acres of land lying in Barren County
being more or less and on the 5th day of August 1839 the
said Perkins acknowledged Said deed
before the clerk of the Barren County Court and whereas I
did & have not relinquished my dower in & to said
land. Now for & in Consideration of the Sum of one
dollar to me in hand paid and the promises before named
have granted bargained & sold and by these presents
grant bargain & Sell unto the said Moore all
the right title interest & claim I have in & to
said tract of land for a more particular description of
the same reference is had to the deed from
Perkins to Moore. To have &
to hold said tract of land to said Moore
& his heirs forever and I warrant & defend to
said Moore against all persons claiming
by through or under me. In Witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand & seal this 27th day of November
1843.

Court for said County Certify that this deed from Martha
Y. Perkins to Nathan Moore was
on this day proven before me by the oath of A.S.
Moore and Isaac Moore Subscribing
witnesses thereto to be the act and deed of Said Perkins,
whereupon the same & this Certificate has been
recorded in my office. Given under my hand this 2nd day
of December 1843.
