From Albemarle Co, he moved to Fayette Co., Ky. where he was married and lived 12 years and from there moved to Barren Co., KY. Enlisted March 1776 served 4 years. Served as substitute for his brother, Charles Denton, who was sick. Pension began March 4, 1831, certificate issued Jan. 28, 1833. Died May 18, 1838 in Barren Co., Ky. |

Nancy Dishman, wife of Jeremier Dishman, brother of William Dishman, testifies she was present at the marriage of William and Sally. Sally Dishman died July 7, 1839, had applied for pension May 16, 1839. William Dishman, son of William and Sally Dishman id administrator of his Mothers estate. |
