Private New Jersey Militia. Born Nov. 10, 1758 in Essex Co., New Jersey. Entered servide 1776 in Sussex Co., New Jersey where he then resided. Then he moved to New York. About 1783, moved to N.C. for nearly 9 years, then moved to Ky. Settled in Barren Co., 1816. Pension began March 4, 1831, certificate issued Jan. 28, 1833.
