I John Crenshaw of Kentucky State and County of Barren being of sound mind and memory, but weak in body, and well knowing that according to the course of human events, a disolution of my Mortal body must soon take place, and wishing to make a just Distribution of that earthly Estate with which it hath pleased the Almighty Father of the Universe to bless me do hereby make and ordain this as my last Will and Testament in manner and form following To wit my will and desire is that all my Debts be punctually paid, and my Dearly beloved Wife Milly Crenshaw shall have the use of all my Estate both real and personal during her natural life Except such property shall be bequeathed to my son Garland Crenshaw Dabney Crenshaw, my daughter Susanna Crenshaw and my son Anderson Crenshaw to make them equal provisions to the general division which is to take place among all my children at my wifes decease. To Thompson Crenshaw Lucy Twyman, Waller Crenshaw Milly Dearing and Betsy Slemmons with respect to what they have already received of my estate amounting to one hundred pounds each and a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf Lucy Twyman has had one Negro Boy named Joshua at one hundred pounds a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf, Waller Crenshaw had A Negro Boy named Nelson at one hundred pounds a Horse Saddle and bridle. Bed and furniture Cow and Calf, Milly Dearing has had one hundred pounds in cash a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf Betsy Slemmons has had a negro named Absalom at one hundred pounds a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf and my will and desire is that immediately

after my decease my Executors Deliver to my son Garland Crenshaw a Negro Boy named Overton a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf to make him equal with what the others before mentioned have received. My will and desire further is that my Executors as above deliver to my son Dabney Crenshaw a Negro Boy named Edmund a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf for the purpose last mentioned and that said Executors as above stated Deliver to my daughter Susanna Crenshaw a Negro girl named Mary a Horse Saddle and bridle bed and furniture Cow and Calf and pay to her at the general division of my Estate two hundred dollars to make her equal to those who are first mentioned as having already received a part of my Estate and that my Executors as above stated Deliver to my son Anderson Crenshaw a Negro girl named Maria a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf and one hundred Dollars to be paid at the general division of my Estate to make him equal with those who have already received a part of my Estate And my will and desire further is that immediately after the Decease of my Dearly beloved Wife Milly Crenshaw the balance of all my Estate both real and personal shall be equally Divided among all my children, To wit, Thompson Crenshaw Lucy Twyman, Waller Crenshaw, Milly Dearing Betsy Slemmons, Garland Crenshaw Dabney Crenshaw Susanna Crenshaw and Anderson Crenshaw and my will and desire is that all that part of my estate both real and personal which may fall to the said Milly Dearing shall be used and enjoyed by her during her life and at her Death to be equally divided among all her children, but that her present husband George T. Dearing is not to have, enjoy possess nor dispose of all or any part thereof and if he doth his act in that respect are hereby declared null and void and my Will and desire further is that if any of my children above named should die without an Heir Lawfully begotten on their body that their part or parts of the Estate shall be equally divided among the surviving Legatees.. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my Trusty and well beloved sons Thompson Crenshaw Waller Crenshaw & Garland Crenshaw Executors of my Last Will and Testament hereby Expressly publishing and declaring the foregoing as my last Will and Testament and that all others made by me are hereby

The foregoing writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of John Crenshaw Decd was produced in Court and proved to be the said Crenshaws Will by the oaths of Joel Yancy and Robert Fields two of the subscribing witnesses thereto who first being sworn deposeth and saith that the said John Crenshaw signed and delivered the said writing as his last Will and Testament and they believe that he was in his proper sense and memory when he did the same and thereupon this said writing was ordered to be recorded as the true last Will and Testament of the said John Crenshaw Decd
