| {Page 1} I John Crenshaw of Kentucky State and County of Barren being of sound mind and memory, but weak in body, and well knowing that according to the course of human events, a disolution of my Mortal body must soon take place, and wishing to make a just Distribution of that earthly Estate with which it hath pleased the Almighty Father of the Universe to bless me do hereby make and ordain this as my last Will and Testament in manner and form following To wit my will and desire is that all my Debts be punctually paid, and my Dearly beloved Wife Milly Crenshaw shall have the use of all my Estate both real and personal during her natural life Except such property shall be bequeathed to my son Garland Crenshaw Dabney Crenshaw, my daughter Susanna Crenshaw and my son Anderson Crenshaw to make them equal provisions to the general division which is to take place among all my children at my wifes decease. To Thompson Crenshaw Lucy Twyman, Waller Crenshaw Milly Dearing and Betsy Slemmons with respect to what they have already received of my estate amounting to one hundred pounds each and a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf Lucy Twyman has had one Negro Boy named Joshua at one hundred pounds a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf, Waller Crenshaw had A Negro Boy named Nelson at one hundred pounds a Horse Saddle and bridle. Bed and furniture Cow and Calf, Milly Dearing has had one hundred pounds in cash a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf Betsy Slemmons has had a negro named Absalom at one hundred pounds a Horse Saddle and bridle Bed and furniture Cow and Calf and my will and desire is that immediately { page 2 } (page 3} inter_ined before signed in line Barren County To wit July County Court 1818 The foregoing writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of John Crenshaw Decd was produced in Court and proved to be the said Crenshaws Will by the oaths of Joel Yancy and Robert Fields two of the subscribing witnesses thereto who first being sworn deposeth and saith that the said John Crenshaw signed and delivered the said writing as his last Will and Testament and they believe that he was in his proper sense and memory when he did the same and thereupon this said writing was ordered to be recorded as the true last Will and Testament of the said John Crenshaw Decd Test W Logan Clk
