Will of Mary Harbison [1800-1890] Book _____ Page 127-128
I, Mary Harbison of Glasgow, Ky do make this my
last will and testament, hereby revoking any former will heretofore made
by me.
First: I give to my son Andrew J. Harbison and to
my grand daughter Polly Mason, daughter of my son Ordean Harbison, decd.
The sum of one dollar each, which I desire my daughter-in-law Pernecy
Harbison shall pay to them as a slight token of my regard and affection
for them.
Second, I give and bequeath to Pernecy Harbison,
wife of my son George R. Harbison, the house and land now occupied by me
on the Lexington road and containing about twenty acres. I also give
and bequeath to said Pernecy Harbison all the balance of my estate of
whatever kind and character, to have, use and enjoy in her own right.
These bequests to the wife of my son George, I make in consideration of
her kindness, care and attention to me in my old age and affliction,
believing that she will continue to provide for my wants in the future
as long as I may be permitted to live. In testimony whereof I have
hereto subscribed my name this 28th day of October 1884.
