            Sarah Munday of the county of  Barren and State of Kentucky feeling that the time allotted to me on this earth is drawing near its close. Do hereby make and publish this my last will and testament to wit.

After first commending my soul to God who gave it I do hereby give and dispose of my earthly affects in the following manner:

1st It is my will in order that my single daughter to wit: Nancy Catherine Munday, Lizzie White Munday and Ina Lee Munday may be provided during the time they may remain single with a means of support, that all of my real estate which includes two houses and lots situated in the town of  Franklin in the county of Simpson and state aforesaid, and also the farm upon which I now  reside remain unsold, that the proceeds arising thereupon be appropriated to the support of my three daughters above mentioned and a sufficiency of the remainer be applied to pay for the support of my two single son to wit: Robert Harrison Munday and Thomas Finley Munday, while they remain on the farm. Should any one of the above named children or heirs marry at any time they are to have their equal proportion of the entire personal or perishable property and chattels allotted to them.

When the time arrives that neither of my three daughters above mentioned remains single it is my will theat then all of my real estate above mentioned be sold and that the proceeds of said sale be equally divided among all of the heirs of my body , including in addition to the aforesaid Nancy Catherine Munday, Lizzie White Munday, Ina Lee Munday, Robert Harrison Munday, and Thomas Finley Munday, Charles Franklin Munday, Philip Henry Munday, Mary ____ Munday, now Mary ___ Mayfield , Margerat Jane Munday, now Margerat Jane Dixon, Samuel Lawler Munday, Sarah Eliza Munday, now Sarah Eliza Pickett, James William Munday and Margery Frances Munday, now Margery Frances Booker.


 

As provisions is made in a former clause of this will for either of the first five mentioned children, to wit: Nancy Catherine Munday, Lizzie White Munday, Ina Lee Munday, Robert Harrison Munday, Thomas Finley Munday ( all of whom are single) to have upon their marriage their equal part ( which includes one fifth) of all the personal or perishable property and chattels distributed to them, it is my will that the residue of said personal effects be equally dived [as written] amongst the remaining four, at the time of their  respective marriages , or at the time of the sale of real estate as aforesaid.

Now having disposed of all my earthly effects I hereby appoint Samuel F. Lawler as Guardian for my three minor children to wit: Lizzie White Munday, Thomas Finley Munday, and Ina Lee Munday. He is also to have full control of the two lots at Franklin until they are sold.

I also appoint Robert Harrison Munday Executor of this my last will and testament. Given under my hand this 20th __ 1877.

The foregoing instrument of writing perporting to be the last will and testament of Sarah Munday decd. Was on the date above produced to court and proven in deed forever of law by oaths of H. C. Carter and Wm. B. Arnett, subscribing witness thereto; Whereupon the same was allowed and established as the true last will and testament of Sarah Munday decd. And orders to be recorded as such.
